If you work on these you will most likely experience a lot more energy in a matter of days.

1. Too little or too much sleep.

We need 7-9 hours of sleep. Period. End of story. But too much sleep is not good, just like is not sleep deprivation. Sleeping over 9 hours per night has been linked to medical problems.

2. Caloric deficit

“It’s all about being in a calorie deficit.” This advice can be helpful for losing weight… for a while, but you do not want to be constantly in a calorie deficit. If you are in a calorie deficit all year, you will not only start to experience fatigue and low energy, but also will affect your hormone levels and metabolism. Sometimes you need a break from a calorie deficit and to even eat in a calorie surplus.

3. Inflammation

Eating processed foods, drinking a lot of alcohol, and other unhealthy habits lead to inflammation, which then leads to fatigue.

4. Overtraining

Not understanding the volume of training that is optimal to your lifestyle often results in doing too much training. Most people actually massively over-do the work required at the gym, plus do a ton of cardio. Hence, they are fatigued and constantly recovering from their training.

5. Lack of movement.

You can also move too little, and that can cause fatigue and low energy.

6. Demanding work.

You have to understand that work also puts its demands on your body and it’s not smart to pair a demanding job with a very demanding exercise program. A nurse who works long hours most days of the week can handle a certain amount of volume, a person who sits at the desk and has a less stressful job, can take a different amount of volume.

7. Substance abuse.

Not only excessive alcohol use causes fatigue, but also too much caffeine. Bringing down your caffeine intake can lower your cortisol levels and result in better energy levels.

8. Electronics.

Sitting at the computer, playing video games, and being on your phone all the time can make you very fatigued. For better energy, take frequent breaks and try to use screens for mostly mandatory tasks like your work.

Links:
1. Magnesium Citrate/Magnesiumsitraatti – https://amzn.to/3Aww8WZ
2. Ashwagandha – https://amzn.to/3XddpZf
3.
