Exercise is usually beneficial especially in today\u2019s world world where we are less and less active.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But just getting movement is not real improvement yet. You need proper exercise programming to maximise your progress, and to improve health and well being.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>So what does a good exercise plan consist of?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Progressive Overload<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are not progressing with weights, reps or speed, your training program is probably not working (we are just talking training now assuming your nutrition and sleep are good, which actually make a bigger difference than training).<video src=\"https:\/\/storage.googleapis.com\/msgsndr\/S6M4NZdYyDpEGtsDGgZV\/media\/65f1c88c1a9195e1667db6f9.mp4\" controls=\"true\"><\/video><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Feeling Better<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Training should not make you feel exhausted every day. When you exercise properly, you should have more energy, less aches and pains, and to have a more optimal hormone profile. You should be feeling healthier and happier. In the beginning though, soreness is pretty much unavoidable as you start working all those new muscles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Maximum Recoverable Volume<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Recovery is going to be key to progress. You want to do the optimum minimal. Get in the gym and get out. Not too little, but your MRV &#8211; maximum recoverable volume. If you are always hitting the gym sore and tight, that might mean you are over training or the structure of your plan doesn\u2019t allow for the best recovery. Again, nutrition and sleep play a key role here though.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When you go past your MRV you just wont recover, testosterone might drop and workouts start to suck. It\u2019s better to go to the gym three days a week for an effective session than be the gym rat who\u2019s there every day making no improvements and unable to train more intensly because of fatique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Links:<br>1.
